Continuous profections are an underexplored version of the Annual Profection technique. Instead of simply advancing the chart 1 sign per year, the 30 degree yearly arc is divided into a continuous stream of approximately 2.5 degrees per month. This technique unlocks greater precision in prediction, as well as stunning accuracy in giving rise to events through the combinations of planets, as in Valens’s oft-cited but little understood ‘handing over’ technique.
